Improvements on various fronts
I have ordered a kitchen! It was less in the critical path of the building project than I had originally feared, so I'm reasonably hopeful that it's going to be delivered in time to not delay things overall.
There was a lot of pushback against the draft text of the Lambeth Call, and it's been changed to remove the bit about reaffirming Resolution 1.10, and instead acknowledges that there's a diversity of opinion within the communion. I am a bit concerned about what this might mean in terms of the cohesion of the communion, but that was going to be complicated not matter what, and I'm no longer feeling nearly so bruised or unwelcome.
I don't think I actually posted to say that I'd tested out of Covid isolation, but that happened on about day ten, by which time I was well past being fully recovered, and just extremely bored of spending so much time in my room.
I am still feeling quite overwhelmed with stuff to do, but one of the things on my plate should wind up in August, and another one in September, so maybe, just maybe, I can avoid taking on anything new and reach a point where I actually do feel on top of things? (Stop sniggering at the back there!)
