hjdoom has written a fighting fantasy style game book, House of the Unquiet Dead, and it's really good. I read/played it over the weekend, only unlike when I played the actual FF books as a kid, I didn't cheat and instead actually started again every time I died, or met an otherwise unpleasant end to my adventure, for a total of eleven sticky ends before victory.
You can get a copy by subscribing to his Patreon, and I wholeheartedly recommend it, along with the podcast in which he plays through some of the classic books, to anyone who has fond memories of running out of fingers to mark the paragraphs you might want to reset back to.
