Ugh, why are sales people

It seems to be absurdly difficult to get someone to sell us a kitchen. We keep getting to the point where we've almost completely agreed a design, but need to make one small change, and then rather than making the change we've asked for, the designer starts trying to make completely unrelated ones instead. And then fail to have saved the previous design, so when I say "no, all I want to do is change the counter top, put the units back the way they were", they don't have any record of the way they were, and we have to start again from the ground up.

I think we're nearly there now, but then we thought that weeks ago, so who knows whether the design they're about to send me so I can ask the builders to check its going to work is actually going to match what we've just agreed....
