Thing of things

I just got round to setting up a DW feed for A Thing of Things, which is written by Ozy Frantz, who I first encountered as the partner of Scott Alexander, and who basically has all of his good points, but also (what I see as) a rather more balanced approach to social justice stuff. I suggest you all add them yesterday.

Oyz's back! I followed them on two different blogs over the years, but they are very good at disappearing when they outgrow a platform. I'm not sure 'balanced' is how i would describe their politics (but then I know nothing of Scott Alexander's, so the comparison doesn't mean much to me) and often I find I disgree but Ozy's thinking processes are always *interesting*.

Scott is awesome in a great many ways, but for various reasons he feels quite traumatised by SJ, and although he does seem to try quite hard to treat it fairly nonetheless, I don't think he always succeeds.
