So I was always about as wibbly and agnostic in my atheism as I previously had been in my Christianity. I never stopped receiving on the rare occasions when I did go to Mass during that period, which some might frown on, but I think it's when we're furthest from God that we need the sacraments most of all. About three years ago I was visiting emperor in Inverness, and went to Mass with him, and was somewhat overcome by how much I missed it, and since then I've been worshipping regularly in London.
My faith remains complicated and wibbly and agnostic, but the practice is an increasingly important part of my life. I wrote a bit about it here: http://wildeabandon.dreamwidth.org/237961.html
