The having to prepare scripts in order to manage standard expected social interactions is definitely a very familiar feeling, and I do the same thing with work emails.
I observed to Mark the other day that it's probably not exactly coincidence that one of my favourite ways of socialising involves having an actual literal script in front of me telling me what to say :)
