Yesterday was filled with learning. In the morning I had a singing lesson with Olivia, my new teacher. I really like her pedagological method; she gave me a collection of vocal exercises and sent me a recording so I can practice them at home. This makes it much easier to do my homework, because I don't need to decide each time exactly how to practice.
In the evening I had my first lesson in French conversation. It went pretty well. My pronunciation and grammer were terrible, but I was able to communicate my ideas, including some that were quite complicated. We were speaking in French around 80% of the time, and I think that I understood almost everything that my teacher said. He suggested several methods to improve my pronunciation, such as listening to podcasts and repeating sentences, or reading my book out loud instead of in my head.
