leonato et nous passons une journée agréable ensemble. J'ai cuisiné déjeuner, et après mangeant nous avons regardé le premier épisode de la deuxiéme saison de 'Hollow Crown', que nous avons tous les deux apprécié. Nous le faisons comme un lire à travers pendant 'Camp des Trônes' à le fin de mars, et c'est utile de le voir en avance, puisque c'est un peu diffèrent de les Pièces d'Histoires originaires et je ne même les ai pas vois* depuis quelques années.
Après ça nous avons joué quelques jeux de Codenames, et puis Mark a sorti a se préparé pour sa performance dans "Made in Dagenham". Un peu plus tard je l'ai suivi au théâtre à voir le spectacle. C'était merveilleux. J'apprécie toujours le regarder interpréter, mais cette fois le spectacle était splendide du début a la fin, même quand il n'était pas sur scène. Les chansons étaient entraînantes, l'histoire était puissant, et l’interprétation était fort sans exception.
Samedi je me suis levé un peu trop tard pour Parkrun, mais je suis allé courir au dépôt de bureau de poste pour ramener une boite qui j'avais manqué le livraison. C'était le fil pour un pull qui je vais tricoter pour moi-même. Cést un belle douce melange de laine et soi, en violet fonce avec tachetures d'une pâle lavande-gris. Cependant, pas de temps de le se mettre a faire, parce que nous attendions des invites pour le dîner, et j'ai du commencer a cuisiner. J'ai fait quelques nouveaux recettes - latkes d'automne pour l'entrée, et deux cuissons des pâtes avec chicorée rôtie pour les plats principaux. J'étais particulièrement content avec les latkes et le pâtes végétaliennes. J'ai venu de finir cuisiner quandkhalinche est arrivé, bientôt suivi par Jez et Emma (QNSPADW), et c'était ravissant de les voir. Tout le monde a semblé d’apprécier les bouffes, et la conversation brillait.
Dimanche n'était pas aussi ravissant. La révision de la chorale et la messe étaient bonnes, mais suivant je suis rentré chez moi de trouver un large trou dans le toit de notre salle a manger. Au moins c'était après le dîner, mais c'est encore assez ennuyeux.robert_jones a été un homme en or, et il a appelé les assureurs, et organisé quelqu'un de réparer le toit demain. Nous nous sentions tous un peu mécontent après ça donc nous avons décidé d'ajourner nos jeux de société prévu. J'ai passé un soirée tranquille avec ma tricotage.
Ce matin j'étais un peu surpris de trouver que les trains couraient à temps, et je suis arrivé à Huddersfield sans des problèmes. Quand j'ai atteint m'appartement ici, j'ai découvert une flaque d'eau sur mon plancher de la cuisine. Heureusement, c'est une appartement loué, et alors, une problème pour quelqu'un d'autre.

I've had a few very busy days. Partly planned, but partly due to unexpected things. On Thursday I went to York to seeleonato, and we spent a pleasant day together. I cooked lunched, and after eating we watched the first episode of the second season of 'Hollow Crown', which we both enjoyed. We're doing it as a readthrough during Thronescamp at the end of March, and it's useful to see it in advance, since it's a bit different from the original History Plays, and I haven't even seen those for a few years.
After that we played a few games of Codenames and then Mark left to get ready for his performance in "Made in Dagenham". A little later I followed him to the theatre to see the show. It was marvellous. I always enjoy seeing him perform, but this time the entire show was splendid from start to finish, even when he wasn't on stage. The songs were catchy, the story was powerful, and the acting was strong across the board.
On Saturday I got up a bit late for Parkrun, but I went for a run to the post office depot to collect a parcel that I'd missed being delivered. It was the yarn for a jumper that I'm going to make for myself. It's a beautiful soft mixture of wool and silk in dark purple with speckles of pale lavender-grey. However, no time to start making it, because we were expecting guests for dinner, and I had to start cooking. I made a couple of new recipes - Autumn latkes to start, and two pasta bakes with roast chicory as main courses. I was particularly pleased with the latkes and the vegan pasta. I had just finished cooking whenkhalinche arrived, swiftly followed by Jez and Emma (WANODW), and it was delightful to see them. Everyone seemed to enjoy the food, and the conversation sparkled.
Sunday was less delightful. Choir rehearsal and Mass were good, but after that I got home to find a hole in the dining room roof. At least it was after the dinner party, but it's still quite irksome.robert_jones was an absolute star and called the insurers and arranged for someone to fix the roof tomorrow. We were all feeling a bit glum after that and decided to postpone our planned board games. I spent a quiet evening with my knitting.
This morning I was a little surprised to find that the trains were running on time, and I got to Huddersfield without difficulty. When I reached my flat here I discovered a puddle of water on my kitchen floor. Fortunately, it's a rented appartment, and therefore someone else's problem!
