Okay, looking at numbers and preferences, I think that 1977 is the best choice for our second readthrough tomorrow. The plan is that we'll start with episode 2 of Stardust as soon as we're all met, so probably a few minutes after 14:00, so we should finish around 15:30, and aim to start 1977 at about 15:45, so there's a bit of time for faff and chatting in between. Logistics and casting are behind the cuts.

Privacy disclaimer: It has been pointed out to me that Zoom has some features that aren't great in terms of privacy. There are more details about this here. I have turned off the Attention Tracking and Cloud Recording features. I can't turn off the ability to see your device information or to join any call that's being made using my account, and I can't make it impossible for me to turn the other features back on. I have no intention of making use of any of these features, and I am (and will remain) the only admin on the account, but I wanted to make people aware that the capacity is there so they can make informed decisions about whether they're comfortable joining.

Software: We'll be using Zoom. Ideally you would download a client here, beforehand (available for Windows, Mac and Linux). I've enabled the setting that means you can join through a browser, but apparently it works less well than the client.

I'll open the meeting a few minutes before 14:00 on Saturday, and then you'll be able to join either by clicking on this link: https://zoom.us/j/3141627183 or by opening the client, going to Join, and then entering 314-162-7183 as the meeting ID.

If you want to have a quick trial run beforehand to make sure the software is working let me know and we can arrange a time.

Scripts: You can download pdf scripts from BBC Writer's room:
Stardust
1977

The Stardust script has some optional bits, which we'll do, so there's a bit of hopping around as follows:
On page 72, where it's marked "Insert 'B'available - longer substitute scene" Scene B is on page 137
On page 82, where it's marked "Insert C here if insert B used". Scene C is on page 140

If you want to convert them to a format more compatible with e-readers, you might find Calibre useful.

Stardust
Stardust casting mostly remains as before, but [personal profile] sfred and [personal profile] ofunaq won't be joining us this time, so I've recast their parts, and marked them with a * in the list below. Edit - we've had another last minute joiner, so I've made some more small changes, but will email those affected

Oh good, not just me getting stymied on passwords. Thought it might be my work laptop rebelling now I don’t work for them any more...
