One of the things that has really fallen by the wayside since I started getting busy is running. I never really got back into the habit after my surgery last year, and it has reached the point that I'm so much less fit than I had been that when I did go out for a run I didn't enjoy it, and felt sore in a bad way after even my usual "short" run of 6-7km around Finsbury Park, so would go out once and then get put off again.
So in the same spirit as trying to post here without worrying about covering absolutely everything, I've started going out for even shorter runs around the much smaller and closer Cheshunt Park, and today is the fourth day in a row that I've managed it. I suspect it'll take a little while longer before I start enjoying it, but I'm at least feeling quite pleased with myself.
