Busy busy busy (part 12 of 12(!))
May. 7th, 2019 09:27 amThe week after Easter, as is traditional, was fairly quiet. I was working from home again, as my main contact in Huddersfield was at a conference, so there wasn't much point in me travelling up. I spent rather more of it working than the previous week, and was in fact quite pleased to complete everything I had hoped to get done in the fortnight by Thursday, so got a bonus day off at the end.
This was good, because I had been starting to get a little bit nervous about various bits of wedding planning and admin, but by the end of the week was feeling considerably more on top of things. As well as this,![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
obandsoller and I managed to get a decent amount of quiet time together. We watched quite a bit of Steven Universe, and are now caught up on all the episodes that can be bought from Amazon. I've enjoyed the show an enormous amount - the warmth, the unremarked queerness and gender-fluidity, the impressive amount of emotional complexity for a kids show made in ten minutes episodes. We also watched episode two of GoT, which I enjoyed a lot.
