Post-surgery
Aug. 17th, 2020 09:36 pmRight now my balls ache rather uncomfortably, but I'm hopeful that that's going to fade quicker than the novelty of having them!
I woke up around four hours ago, and am not feeling too bad, all things considered. Things are pretty tender, despite two doses of morphine, and I'm feeling moderately fatigued, but I managed a light dinner, and am able to drink fluids, so no tubes coming out of my arm.
Holding something to read is quite hard work, so I'm resorting to an audio book of a well loved and familiar novel to keep myself occupied. Obviously in the current circumstances I'm not allowed visitors, but depending on how I feel tomorrow, might host a Zoom visiting hour in the early evening,if they haven't let me out by then.
