As previously mentioned, the next readthrough will be of The Admirable Crighton, by J.M.Barrie. This play, first performed in 1902 is a comedy about class issues of the time. You can find a brief synopsis on Wikipedia, and some notes on the characters here. Let me know about any part preferences in the comments.

One quick note on casting. I'm trying to be reasonably even-handed over time in terms of who gets the better/bigger parts, but I'm also trying to pay attention to people's expressed preferences, which unsurprisingly tend to be for the bigger/better parts, so if you are someone not asking for particular parts because you're not particularly familiar with the play, but are feeling as though you're not getting your fair share of juicy roles, do feel free to just say "I would like a lead role", and I'll take that into account.

No women please! No other preference here, all of the parts look like fun in their own ways.

I think I can't do this one due to having booked an earlier German class for Sunday than I had this week!

I for one really like your casting. And I don't especially yearn for lead roles; I wouldn't mind if there's a role you think I'm absolutely perfect for, but I don't feel left out if I'm mostly doing medium-sized parts. Morwanneg in Stardust was very satisfying.

I don't know this play at all but basically any of the roles look fun.

This one looks really fun! Would love to be one of the castaways. Not Lady Mary please. Loam and Crichton both sound like a lot of fun.

I prefer medium to large parts, but also in this play I'm more interested in the female roles. I realise that isn't the worlds largest overlap! The male leads are all quite weird characters for me though - so would prefer female characters even if that does mean smaller roles :)

I am really enjoying the structure these give my week, and the chance to find out about plays I didn’t previously know.

But I also really enjoyed just listening to the Passion Play, so if you have lots of people and not enough parts (and other people don’t mind me listening) I’m very happy just to dial in for that!

I'm sorry, I got confused with days and times and I'm not actually free Sunday afternoon. Please can you un-cast me from this readthrough, and I'm sorry for being awkward.

I'd be very happy with a smaller part, or content to just listen in if you're oversubscribed.

I have a fairly strong preference for playing Lady Mary.
