Sorry for the double post - this time with functional poll... Original comments here

This is another one with slightly fewer parts than some of the plays we've been doing so once again the poll will ask for level of enthusiasm. Anyone who wants a part and doesn't get one will get priority in future readthroughs, and of course people are welcome to sit in and listen. The script is available from Project Gutenberg and there's some brief character notes here. As usual, let me know any part preferences in the comments.

Yes, I'd like to read, but won't be too sad if I don't get a part

Maybe, I'm happy to participate if there are still parts after more enthusiastic people have been cast.

I'd love to read Professor Higgins! And I'd rather not read Alfred or any of the women.

I will pass on casting since I think I will go to the BLM rally in Bern (I am... not confident in the organisers' credentials, but then, the risks are generally fairly low for me given demographics and in switzerland in particular). If I decide against or if I get home early I hope I can zoom in to observe!

I am not confident enough in my accents to play Alfred, would be delighted to play my namesake, or whatever you think works.

If I were to read Alfred, it would be mostly my own accent but with some Welsh-ish cadence where the rhythms of the dialogue lean towards it (I tried, earlier, and that's what happens). It sounds weird and not at all right for Doolitle, of course, but I am willing to attempt it if no-one else wants to. I'm also very happy to defer to someone Welsh, with a better ear for accents than I have, or who actively wants to read Alfred Doolitle.
