Online Readthrough for Sunday 21st June, The Changeling by Thomas Middleton and William Rowley

This week's readthrough will be The Changeling, by Thomas Middleton, because we haven't had enough ridiculous tragicomic Renaissance drama. The script is available in HTML format here, and I've converted it to epub and mobi, which you can download from here. Wikipedia has a synopsis and list of characters. I wasn't going to do this one, because one readthrough per weekend is enough, but THE CHANGELING.

Obviously I would love to play BJ (who I have played before) or De Flores (who I haven't) because of the second best fucked up seduction scene in Renaissance drama EVER. If not, I would probably prefer someone in the subplot (though happy to fill in any gaps in the mainplot too).

So I was going to take De Flores for myself, but then I remembered that next week I'm planning on doing the Duchess of Padua, and the rules are that I always get to cast myself as the lead in Wilde plays, so you're in luck. And I suspect that having those two characters in the same place will work quite well.
