Next weekend's readthrough will be The Lady of Pleasure, by James Shirley. There's a synopsis on Wikipedia, and the script is available from Project Gutenberg. Part requests in the comments as ever.

I was asked last week how long I intend to keep organising these readthroughs for, and the answer is that I'm not entirely sure. I think that even if and when we find ourselves in a vaccinated post-covid19 world, I will continue to host them sometimes, because it means people from all over the place can join without having to travel. That's a long way off though, and I expect to keep hosting weekly for the forseeable future. As and when my in-person social life gets busier again, or if interest starts to drop off, or if I just start running out of steam and/or ideas, I might drop the frequency, but I don't see any of those things as particularly likely to happen imminently.

I have an over-full weekend this weekend, but very much look forward to doing another in future.

I'm already booked this Saturday but would otherwise have been totally up for this one.

I will keep looking for your posts and be on the lookout for ones that are Kaye-suitable and happening when I am available.

It's a great thing and I am very glad you're doing it.

I'm on call at work this weekend and minimising my commitments as a result. It's not *very* likely I'll be paged to do something, but it's possible.

I may come and watch if available.

Oooh I'm not sure how well you know my preferences and I don't know the play well. And I'm also bad at knowing when I suit comedy, I smashed a comedic scene unexpectedly in an exam once and that just proved to me I'm bad at judging it πŸ˜…

I mean I hadn't thought I failed, but I didn't expect everyone to love it.

I continue to prefer female characters but sir Frederick looks accessible among the male ones. I'm guessing I'd rather enjoy the leading lady but I'm perfectly happier in smaller parts as well πŸ˜„β˜ΊοΈ

I think probably a no this time, but only because I will probably have a Love's Labours Lost readthrough in the evening, so could possibly be about if needed.
