First, and most pressingly, we're looking quite light on sign-ups for next week's readthrough of Trelawney of the Wells, so if you were on the fence or just hadn't noticed the post, consider this your nudge to sign up.

Secondly, I'm finding myself stretched a little thin at the moment, so I'm afraid this is going to be the last of the regular ones I host for a while. I'm sorry to bow out just at the time when restrictions are ramping up again, but the lesson that I should reduce my commitments when I notice that they're about to start having a negative impact on my mental health rather than waiting until the damage has started is one that I don't want to ignore having finally let it sink in. If anyone else would like to organise one then I'm very happy to provide my paid Zoom account, link to any organising posts, and offer pointers if that would be helpful.

I definitely will be hosting the Tony Harrison Nativity sometime around Christmas, and there may well be others as and when the mood takes me, but for the time being I need to stop feeling as though I've got a duty to make them happen.

Thank you so much for organising these, and I think that it is very sensible to take time off when you feel that you need to.

I think you have done an splendid job of making an amazing thing happen and I fully support your decision to stop when sensible and take care of yourself.

Great to recognize and say when you need a break, good luck in handing it off usefully!

I really admire and appreciate you doing these for half a year. It has been genuinely the highlight of my spring and summer and I'm really grateful. I am also massively impressed with your decision to take a break when you need to. I can probably take on some of them, but I will have to have a think about what works before I officially volunteer.

Thank you for organising so many of the readthroughs! I'd meant to say that a little while back when I realised I hadn't come to any for a while -- I realised that there was a limit to how much time I actually had, but that I really appreciated the ones I'd gone to, and the ones I saw other people enjoying as well. If people feel the lack, I do think it's likely someone else could do some organising.

I've decided it's not safe to keep going to basel on saturdays, so i'm now free for next week's readthrough!

And you've been doing these for quite some time, it's not surprising you need a break!

Entirely fair decision, and hope headspace is forthcoming for stuff you need to do.
Would do TotW, but thus far it still looks like I’ll be at the theatre that afternoon...

That's a really sensible decision. Thank you so much for all the organising of them you have done! I've really enjoyed the ones I've been able to make :)
