I've already sung the praises of the cookbook East by Meera Sodha, which I've been using a lot lately, but today I cooked a recipe for Caramelised Onion and Chilli Ramen, in which she told the truth about how long it takes to caramelise onions.

It also came out fucking delicious, but that's almost besides the point...
