I've been getting a bit self-conscious about my receding hairline recently, so with only a hint of regret decided to lose the shoulder-length locks and go for a style with a fringe. My stylist is excellent, and I'm very pleased with the results. I can't quite decide though whether the new cut looks better with a beard or without though, so am going to put it to a vote, obviously with the caveat that I may completely ignore the results, or more likely, switch depending on whether or not I can be arsed to shave. I can grow the beard back in a couple of weeks. The haircut is rather less reversible, and would take a couple of years.
