We're on holiday!

It has been quite a stressful few weeks, so getting to put everything down for a week is very welcome indeed. Well, I say a week, but the train strikes tomorrow and the following Saturday rather messed up our plans, so we had to leave a day early and return a day late. Darn those pesky strikers, making us extend our holiday...

We're in Glasgow for the next few days, although we'll also be making a day trip to Edinburgh to catch up with my old friend Mikey, and take in a show or six at the festival. And on Wednesday, which will be our third wedding anniversary, we're heading up to Inverness, where we'll be staying in the same room we had for the wedding night. Très romantique :)

Wonderful, enjoy your holiday, look after Scotland for me while I'm away! (Setting off toward a tropical beach in a few hours' time …) Glad you get a decent break. I plan to get up to Inverness again someday.
