Français quotidien

J'ai décidé de ajouter une traduction en anglais après mon français quotidien, pour le fait plus accessible. Le rendez-vous avec ma nouvelle conseillère est allé bien. Je l'ai demandé s'avis de "analyse du comportement appliqué*", et elle a répondu, "Objectez-vous si je jure?" Je crois que nous sommes sur la même longueur d'ondes!

*ou, comme je le pense, la torture des enfants autistique pour les forcer à comporter comme les neurotypiques.

I've decided to add a translation in English after my daily French, to make it more accessible. The meeting with my new counseller went well. I asked for her opinion of ABA*, and she replied "Do you mind if I swear?" I think that we're on the same page!

*or as I think of it, the torture of autistic children to make them behave like neurotypicals.

May I ask what ABA is?

Applied Behaviour Analysis. It's a kind of therapy usually provided for/inflicted on autistic children. It basically uses rewards and punishments to teach patients to exhibit or avoid particular behaviours.
