Was 2019 a good year for you?
Much like the last couple of years, it has been much better for me personally than it has for the world in general. Unlike the preceeding few years, parts of it have been pretty difficult, although the high points have been very high indeed, so it still comes out as an excellent year. And the difficult stuff has generally been of the "oh look, another fucking opportunity for growth" variety than anything straightforwardly bad - I've been doing and expect to continue doing quite a lot of emotional and psychological work, but I think it's going to start paying dividends that will last a lot longer than the difficulties.
